What sets Global Meals apart from other meal providers is our dedication to offering independence through healthy, delicious meals that cater to dietary needs. Our diverse menu options are curated by experienced chefs and approved by dietitians, ensuring the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients. Additionally, we offer specialized menus for specific dietary restrictions such as sodium-controlled, gluten-restricted, vegetarian, and Kosher meals. Our goal is to provide you with nutritious and flavorful options that bring variety to your dining experience.
The day of your delivery is based on your home address. Before your initial delivery, our customer care team will reach out to go over the specifics and to officially welcome you to the Global Meals Family. Please be aware that delivery timing may be impacted by weather and road conditions, so we appreciate your understanding and patience on your delivery day.
The number of meals is authorized by your care manager, our meal delivery service provides a selection that includes anywhere from 10 to 14 meals on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
We recognize that individual dietary choices and needs vary, and some of our customers may have specific requirements for their meal deliveries. We suggest that all our new customers sample our standard rotation to experience the full array of what we offer each week. Should you wish to tailor your own rotation or select specific weeks’ meals, we are more than happy to accommodate those preferences. We kindly request that you notify us of any changes at least one week before your scheduled delivery to ensure we have sufficient time to make the necessary adjustments to your account.
Unfortunately, due to the Ohio Administrative Code, clients are only allowed to receive their meals at their home or designated delivery address.
In Ohio, under the Medicaid waiver program, someone else may be permitted to accept meal deliveries on behalf of a consumer. However, this requires prior arrangement and approval from your case manager. It is important to ensure that the designated individual is authorized to receive the meals and that they are aware of any dietary restrictions or specific instructions for the consumer.
If you or a designated individual approved by your case manager are not available to sign for your meals, we are unable to leave them in accordance with program regulations. If you anticipate being away on your delivery date for any reason, please contact us in advance.
